Resident television
The bill nobody in the building owns.
Bulk TV is usually signed once, by whoever was in charge that year, and then renews quietly. Meanwhile the lineup drifts away from what residents actually watch and the per-room price stops matching occupancy.
Where the money goes
Three costs, three fixes.
Paying per room, not per occupied room
Agreements are often written against the licensed bed count. Occupancy moves; the invoice does not. It is worth checking which number you are being billed on.
A box in every room
Older installs put equipment in each room, which means equipment charges, failures and a maintenance call every time a resident presses the wrong button. One central system removes that entirely.
A lineup that does not match the building
Facilities pay for premium tiers nobody watches while residents ask for channels that are not there — and for Spanish-language or international channels that a different package includes as standard.
What you can add for nothing
Your own channel.
Most facilities do not realise a community channel is normally part of a commercial TV build. Activities, menus, the day of the week, a welcome message for families — on the same televisions residents already watch.

Questions
What operators ask us.
Can we change providers mid-contract?
Usually not without a cost. We read the agreement, find the notice window and tell you the date that matters. Sometimes the right answer is to renegotiate now and move later.
Will residents lose channels?
They should not. In most audits the lineup improves, because we rebuild it around what your residents actually watch instead of what was standard when the contract was signed.
Do you handle the install?
Yes. EmpireTV is ours — the same team that quotes it installs it and answers the phone when a screen goes dark.
What about international and Spanish channels?
Available, and often cheaper as part of a commercial package than as add-ons to a residential-style agreement.

When does your TV agreement renew?
Most operators cannot answer that. The assessment asks, and the audit finds the date in the paperwork.
In the room
Residents notice the lineup, not the contract.
