Buying a building

You take over the building. We are already there.

When an operator buys a facility from another, they have us order every service in their name ahead of the closing. The day they take over, we are on site with the new phones, internet and TV live, and the new name on the phones, the website and social media. It is one of the most popular things we do in healthcare.

Takeover day

The day the keys change hands, families still call the main number, staff still need the internet, and residents still want the TV on. The new name has to be everywhere by nine.

Two crews, one plan

The services and the brand, moved together.

Empire Telecom handles what the building runs on. Empire Dev handles how the building looks to the world. One plan, one date.

How a takeover runs

Ordered before the closing. Live on takeover day.

A sale leaves the old owner’s accounts and contracts wired into the building. We audit all of it, so the new operator starts with everything fresh, working and in their name.

  1. Audit the seller’s bills

We gather every bill and contract for the building and audit them line by line: what is in use, what is not, and what it should cost.

  2. Order in your name

Before the closing, we order the phones, internet and TV in the new operator’s name, and build the new name, website and social profiles.

  3. Takeover day

We are on site. The new services go live, greetings and caller ID change, the new site launches and the profiles switch over, all tested from outside.

  4. After

The old accounts are closed out, the portal shows every service and invoice, and support is one number, 24/7.

Social media, with AI

A marketing team that never takes a day off.

We set up the new building’s social profiles and an AI that drafts posts in the facility’s voice: events, open houses, staff spotlights, open positions and holidays. A person on your side approves, or lets it run on its own once you trust it.

  • Posts drafted in your brand, with your photos
  • Approve, edit or schedule from one place
  • Autonomy you set: approve everything, or let it run
  • Open positions posted the day you add them

Questions

About transitions.

When should we call you?

As soon as the purchase is agreed. We audit the seller’s bills and order everything in your name before the closing, so takeover day is a switch, not a scramble.

Does it work for a group buying several buildings?

Yes. Each building gets its own plan and its own takeover date, and all of them sit in one customer portal.

Do we have to use you for both the telecom and the brand?

No. Either crew can work alone. Running them together is what keeps the name, the numbers and the website from changing on different days.

Can we keep our phone numbers through a name change?

Yes. The numbers stay; the greeting, the menu and the caller ID name change.

Who updates the website afterwards?

You can, from the Websites tab in the customer portal: pages, jobs, notices, popups and SEO. Or ask us and we will.

Is the social media posted without us?

Only if you want it to be. Day one, a person on your team approves every post; you decide when it can run on its own.

Plan your transition

Tell us which buildings are changing hands or names. Send the current bills and we will audit them first.

What can we help with?

Prefer email? Send the bills to sales@empiretelecomnj.com and we’ll include them in the audit.

What happens next: we confirm what we have, gather any bills and contracts you would rather not chase yourself, review every line, and come back with one plain-language recommendation. Questions? Call (732) 363-9898.
